The Dentons’ People, Reward and Mobility team is pleased to invite you to attend its virtual mock Employment Tribunal.
Over the past 18 months the Employment Tribunal has had to adapt to a remote hearing format. As remote hearings continue, and look set to stay a feature for some cases for the foreseeable future, we are holding a virtual mock Employment Tribunal hearing. This is designed to give directors, HR specialists and line managers an insight into how a remote Employment Tribunal runs in practice. It will also give some insight as to what an Employment Tribunal is really like more generally.
The event will be held via Zoom, to mirror a virtual Employment Tribunal as closely as possible. Alice Mayhew from Devereux Chambers will act as Employment Judge. Our witnesses, after giving evidence, will be cross-examined by barristers Jesse Crozier and Samuel Nicholls, also from Devereux Chambers.
After the mock hearing, there will be an opportunity for discussion and questions about the process, and the way in which an Employment Judge might make their decision.
The virtual mock Employment Tribunal will run on Tuesday 5 October 2021 from 9.30am to 11.30am. Please register by Thursday 30 September to confirm your attendance and receive a link for the event.
